CSM- Rise of an organization

Dear Friends,
We know that the Imagination Engineering is the base for our CSM. Why imagination is more important than anything for growth? The Imagination brings innovation. The innovation brings growth.

The Rise of an Organization: When an Organization starts? There is an imagination ,that brings innovation to make an organization with less investment. More innovation brings more growth and profit. More innovative people take the organization to multi million turnover profile. In this phase the system follow ups are very less. Every day new achievement , appreciation and rewards. This formula is also applicable to the shop floor. The CSM tells those ways to rise the existing Shop floor into great heights.
We will Continue the CSM building blocks in the next chapter .

CSM- Building blocks

The CSM- New Shop floor Culture

Developed based on the Quote of one of the Greatest Scientist .
"Imagination is more important than knowledge."
                                      ~ Albert Einstein

Previous session  explains why the shop floor need  a new Management system and culture and also waiting for further about  Eureka  Week and CSM.
Basically CSM ‘s Major objective is finding the way or blasting  the hidden  mountain which opposes the profit by simple bullet .Whereas the KAIZEN and other Continuous improvement projects deals with removal of smaller stones. If we  don’t have imagination ,then we cannot identify the hidden Mountain.SO We already know the CSM is developed based on Imagination Engineering.
CSM-  stands for “Competitive Shop Floor Management “.
Instead of blaming other teams ,CSM builds the culture of improving their competitiveness within the shop floor functions as well as overall organization also.
Eg. The production function will be competitive when there is a limitation of Maintenance arises and so on. How to do it?.

“Eureka  week” Rules are
1.Identifying the hidden Mountain and it’s solution through IM and CM methods.
2.The solution should be completed within 7 hours.
3.Improved result should be seen within next shift.
4.You should not use external people support for making sample .
5.You should not purchase new spare for sample.
Overall  the Problem and solution both will be new remaining are already available.
This session added two more , IM and CM methods for more clarification.
Over dose will make indigestion so ,I will explain the case study which dealt in Eureka week in the coming session.
Your’s Faithfully ,

CSM- The New Shop Floor Management System

Developed based on the Quote of one of the Greatest Scientist .

The Speed of innovation in Information Technology and other fields as both "frightening and fascinating. The shop floor is updated about 30 years back. After that we are just maintaining it without any major innovations. We  the  shop floor people are really not much updated in terms of innovation ,passion ,speed and modernization. Please read the following cases which are regularly happening in our shop floor.

Case 1- One of the Automotive MNC, Chennai. Production Meeting
Production  Manager Says :Due to CNC boring Machine down for 25 mints. production target is not met..
Case 2- One of the Electronics manufacturing company in Gurgaon Scrap meeting.
QC Engineer says : Operator has not followed the MIS is the reason for 10 nos. scrap.
Case  3: One of the textile company in Surat  OHS Meeting
OHS Specialist says : Machine door design is the problem for yesterday’s Incident.
Each one of the shop floor members blaming other team members for not achieving their target. Is it the real competent of the shop floor?.
We are doing small improvements every day but is it really gives any breakthrough in the shop floor .
Please read the special case which is happened in one of the Largest Manufacturing company in Chennai.

Feb 25 2014 Morning 9:00am,all the  shop floor members were received an E-Mail from the Maintenance  and Process Head   and surprised ,shocked and interested to know  in detail. Is it the salary hike, Production incentive or mega entertaining event.
Nothing !
It is about to change the shop floor culture  which was successfully tested again . The mail says   We will achieve” zero Down time, Zero Scrap and Zero Incidents” and having the PPT attachment  called “Eureka week”.

The Eureka week is the program conducted by one of the Team Leader which is the part  of the innovation  shop floor program.
The eureka week is the outcome of next generation shop floor culture  called “CSM
I guess most of  you are interested to know further about CSM like What it is?, How to do it? Who will initiate it? What are the drawbacks of it? And so on..
In comings days I will explain all about the CSM  with case studies which are 100% successfully  implemented in multiple shop floors.

The people who are all worked with me  Should know in detail ,but I want to share such Culture to each and every one shop floor people.

Think and wait for some more time…
